Properties are advertised on this website each week and can be viewed using the Property search function above.

Properties are advertised from Wednesday morning and are available for bidding until midnight on the following Tuesday.   

The adverts tell you the landlord, location, size, rent, tenure type and other features of the property to help you decide which properties are right for you.  The adverts also tell you if there are any special requirements that the applicant must meet, such as age requirements, whether a local connection may be required or if there are any preferences given such as to working applicants or those with special needs that the property caters for. 

Where possible  available a photograph of the property or a similar house type is provided and you can access information about the local area and facilities.

A range of symbols are used to tell you about the property.
 

		The number of bedrooms in the property
		The minimum or maximum age that an applicant must be to apply for the property (age restriction will be displayed within the icon when viewed on the Property website or the Newsletter)
		Whether parking is available
		Whether property is wheelchair adapted
		Whether the property has a garden
		Whether the property is designated for older persons only (sheltered or independent living)
		The energy efficiency rating of the property
		Whether the property allows pets or not
		Whether a local connection is required
		Whether a property is an Affordable Rent

You can bid on as many properties as you are interested in each week when you are logged into your Island HomeFinder account.
